FAQs

  • Q: If I use a mail-order pharmacy, can I still save money on my eligible pancreatic enzymes?
A: Yes. You can use your loyalty card every time you refill your prescription and save money on your copay.
  • Q: What is the Savings Request Form?
A: The Savings Request Form is something you use only if the pharmacy does not process your claim with the loyalty card. Fill out the Savings Request Form and mail, fax, or email it with a copy of the pharmacy receipt using the contact information listed on the form. Be sure to complete all sections, as incomplete information will delay reimbursement.
  • Q: Help! I am having trouble logging in to the LIVE2THRIVE® website. What do I do?

Breakfast Pizza

This breakfast pizza is a high-calorie recipe that doesn’t just have to be eaten at breakfast. This is a great dish for lunch or dinner, too! If you’re cooking for friends and/or family who don’t have CF and would prefer a lower-calorie pizza, check out the substitutions table below. If you will be making substitutions, it’s a good idea to get an extra pizza crust and make two pies, doubling the other ingredients where necessary.

Ingredients

1 can refrigerated pizza crust ⅛ tsp. salt
Dusting of flour for pizza crust ⅛ tsp. pepper
1 tsp. olive oil 2 Tbsp. butter
8 slices of bacon (crisply cooked) 1 container chive, vegetable, or regular cream cheese
8 eggs Green onion (if desired)
½ cup of half and half Grated cheese of choice

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 425° F.
  2. Dust pizza pan with flour. Unroll pizza crust and place in pan. Starting at center, press dough out with hands to edge of pan.
  3. In 10 in. skillet, add olive oil and cook bacon over medium-high heat until mostly done. Remove bacon and leave fat in skillet.
  4. In medium bowl, beat eggs, half and half, salt, and pepper.
  5. In same skillet, melt butter and add egg mixture.
  6. As eggs are cooking, add cream cheese to skillet and stir.
  7. Cook and stir until thoroughly cooked but still moist. Remove from heat.
  8. Spoon egg mixture over crust and layer bacon on top.
  9. Bake 12-15 minutes until thoroughly heated and crust is golden brown.
  10. Garnish with green onion and grated cheese.

Notes:

Below are easy substitutions you can make to lower the calorie count for breakfast pizza when cooking for people without CF.
INGREDIENTS SUBSTITUTION CALORIES SAVED
8 slices of bacon 4 slices of bacon 172
8 eggs 4 eggs 284
½ cup half and half ½ cup skim milk 115
1 container cream cheese 1 container ⅓ less fat cream cheese 70
2 Tbsp. butter cooking spray (3 sprays) 197
  • In step 3, drain bacon fat in skillet
  • In step 4, add skim milk instead of half and half
  • In step 5, use cooking spray to coat skillet instead of melting butter
